What is eForex?

eForex is an online money changing service for Individuals and Corporate Companies by Merchantrade Asia Sdn Bhd.

Who is eligible to use "Personal Account" for eForex service?

"Personal Account" to be used by any individual who are 18 years of age and above, possesses valid identification documents (NRIC for Malaysian and Passport for Non- Malaysian).

"Corporate Account" to be used by any company registered in Malaysia.

REGISTRATION

Via Website - visit www.eforex.com.my
Via App - Download via Play Store & Apple Store
Click "Register Now" button on the home page and complete the registration form.

PURCHASE

Place your order; make your payment via online payments gateway (MyClear) Direct Bank Credit or Merchantrade Money Card and collect your currencies at the listed Merchantrade branches.

VERIFICATION & COLLECTION

Personal Account
Submit your identification document (NRIC for Malaysian or Passport for Non-Malaysian) to perform customer verification (Customer Due Diligence) at the chosen Merchantrade pick up branch when collecting the currencies. Please contact our Customer Care consultant if you need further assistance.

Corporate Account
Visit any of our listed Merchantrade branches to submit your company documents or our Marketing Executives will visit you (by appointment) to collect your company documents for verification (Customer Due Diligence). To make appointment for document collection kindly send an email to https://mccs.mtradeasia.com/. Please contact our Customer Care consultant if you need further assistance.

Document submission is a regulatory requirement for the purpose of (Customer Due Diligence). Customer needs to be verified physically against the submitted documents.

Merchantrade Asia Sdn Bhd offers most currencies online, however if the currency you require is not listed online, please proceed to the nearest Merchantrade branch or please contact our Customer Care consultant if you need further assistance.

You can view the currency exchange rates from the main page of our website www.eforex.com.my or from the Mobile Application. The final exchange rate will be the displayed rate at the point of your confirmation of transaction.

Merchantrade does provide this facility as a special request but it’s subject to the availability.

eeForex do not offer "SELL" facilities. If you need to sell currency, please visit any of our Merchantrade branches.

Every customer can make a purchase in advance and choose a collection date up to 6 months.

Merchantrade does not impose any additional charges.

We offer the best online rates, exclusive to eForex customer. You can view the current exchange rates from the main page of our website www.eforex.com.my or from the Mobile Application.

Direct Bank Credit and Merchantrade Money Card.

You will need to transact a minimum of RM500 worth of currency. If you need to exchange a smaller amount of currency, please visit any of our Merchantrade branches.

Yes, once we obtain payment authorization from your merchant or service provider, transaction confirmation slip will be sent to the registered email address.

If your confirmation email is not received within five minutes;

  • Please check your junk mail box.
  • Refer to your email settings to mark eForex emails as acceptable.

If you ordered using a company email address, our email may have been blocked by your company or you can re-log in to check the status of the transaction. In the event you are still unable retrieve your pin number, please contact eForex customer care line.

eForex ensures the highest level of security for its payment platforms. We use industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all personal data transmissions. This means personal and payment information passed between your computer and our website and mobile application cannot be read by a third party.

You can collect your currency from the chosen Merchantrade branches during transaction.

Amendment on the currency purchased and amount purchase is not allowed. Amendment on collection date and location can be made via eForex system (subject to approval & cannot be guaranteed). Please contact our Customer Care consultant if you need further assistance.

Any cancellation of transaction by the User must be initiated through the eForex System within 3 hours after the transaction is performed. User is not permitted to cancel transaction after a lapse of 3 hours from the time of transaction.

No charges are imposed for cancelation.

Under no circumstances will your personal data be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. For BonusLink member’s data will be shared for the point’s fulfilment.

We will never ask you to click on a link that directs you to enter or confirm security information. If you are in doubt regarding the authenticity of an email appearing to be from us, contact our customer service team immediately for clarification.

You can do so by clicking the "Click here to Reset Password" link at the bottom of Log in Page

Customers are allowed to amend the following via the ‘Edit Profile’ feature upon log in thru website or Mobile Application :
- Email Address
- Mobile Number
- Address
- BonusLink Membership Number

You may assign a third-party to collect your order on your behalf. This authorization only applies from your second transaction onwards. You need to register authorized third-party details in eForex website and he/she need to bring identification documents along with the pin number for verification at Merchantrade branches before eForex staff can release the currencies to your authorized third party.
